2nd Uproar Festival of Public Art is currently seeking artists to apply to participate

Here’s the info to know:

We are honored to have as our 2025 Jurors Stephen Hayes, Thomas Sayre, and Elizabeth Brim!
Sixty artists will be selected and will get a $1,000 honorarium for participation
Prize money will total $21,000 ($10k 1st Place Juror, $10k 1st Place People’s Choice, and two $500 awards for runners up in each category)
There will be a Purchase Award of one work from the Town of Hillsborough and a $6,000 Commission Award from the Town of Chapel Hill.
We will provide discounted lodging for artists at one of our partner hotels
Sales opportunity: Selected artists are encouraged to make their Uproar artwork available for purchase
A feel-good, great-vibes event where we treat our artists like rock stars

The application deadline is Monday, March 17, 11:59pm There is no application fee.
