About the event
Marketing yourself as an artist can be intimidating and overwhelming. You groan to yourself, “Can't I just make my art and the money will come?” The truth is, probably not. When filling out artist grant forms they ask for an artist statement which is a way of marketing yourself but what do you say? It's awkward, especially if you're new to seeking funding for your work. Yet, an artist statement can be the crucial key to opening exciting new doors for you and your art to thrive!
