Costume Sewing Basics

This sewing class is for anyone interested in sewing costumes. In this class we will go over different things to consider when choosing fabrics, patterns, and notions to construct costumes of different kinds. We will also cover basic sewing skills as needed. You may bring a costume project you are working on or one you would like to make. Another option is to use our supplies to construct a simple costume piece. You may choose to make a vest, an apron, or a drawstring bag. A second class to allow more time for sewing costumes is optional. This class is for any level of experience and ages 12 years and up. Mixxer supplies sewing machines, or you may bring your own.
