Sara moved to NC in 2020 from New Jersey where she founded and ran a makerspace in a K-8 school for 8 years. She has taught many classes on a variety of craft and STEM topics to both children and educators. She loves to learn new skills and make all the things.

Sara learned to wood carve while living in New Jersey, attending a local woodcarving schol. She continues to share her passion for the craft with Mixxer members and the local Triad woodcarving community.
