Meet the Instructor

Daniel Butner

Daniel Butner grew up on a tobacco farm building houses. He didn't grow up having much except the ability to build and repair things. Daniel started working with wood at a young age, and enjoys pushing the limits of what he can do.

Daniel encourages open discussion to get others input to get the most out of what you will make. His intention with leading these maker experiences is to guide you on how to use the tools to make the something you always wanted. He is always willing to help and answer questions through your making process.

Daniel is also a long time member and supporter of the Mixxer community, and has his own day in Winston Salem!
