Wix Website Series 3: Events and Classes

Come learn how to create your own fully functioning website with the Wix Website Series and learn more about Events and Classes during this session! This includes the technical elements of building a member section, creating membership options, creating events, creating classes, and taking payment. We will cover designing a member page, event calendar, event pages, and check out.

In order to participate, you will need a basic Wix site already built, which we will complete in Session 1. If you're building the website with a specific intention, please bring any content that you'd like to use (product images, etc.). Otherwise, we will use stock images throughout the series.

This session builds on Session 1, Web Building Basics. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TAKEN SESSION 1 or have a working understanding of Wix before signing up. Participants should be familiar with basic computer functions (how to use a mouse, keyboard, google, etc.). Please bring your own laptop to work on, or we'll have one available for use at Mixxer.

This meet up is for makers 9 years old and older. All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
