About the event
Create your own comic by developing a unique character and bringing them to life through storytelling and illustration. Students will learn the basics of how to structure their story before diving into different drawing techniques. Basic techniques will be covered, including creating character expressions, character movement, and drawing the eye through the strip.
Lead by: Issis Kelly (she/her)
Issis Kelly is an Art Experiences Catalyst known for her innovative and transformative workshops. She creates immersive art experiences that inspire participants to explore their creativity in unconventional ways. At Issis Kelly Studio, she specializes in blending different artistic mediums, such as her signature "Play with Fire" class, which combines alcohol ink and fire to produce unique art pieces. With a background in arts in medicine, Issis emphasizes the therapeutic benefits of creativity, aiming to make art accessible and engaging for everyone. Her work is dedicated to igniting passion and joy in the creative process.
