MIxxer Monday
Mixxer Monday is a monthly teen night at the makerspace. Come and hang out with other teens who share the love of making and creating. Each month will include an optional themed activity and dinner.

About the event
Join us for the July Mixxer Monday on Monday, August 11, from 5 - 8 pm.
We will have a lot of opportunities to make things including wood working, string art, Arduino coding, and scratch blocks. Please sign up on the forms at the bottom of the page so we can gauge the amount of supplies we will need.
Please remember the following:
Everyone needs to wear close toed shoes (no Crocs)
If you plan to do wood or metal working, you must wear long pants
Come ready to have fun and to try something new

Wood Working - this month we are making a wooden tool tote
Scratch Blocks - let's get ready for the Iron Pour! Create a mold for your iron art
String Art - make a masterpiece using nails and string. You can bring a template if you would like. Boards will be 6"x6", 8"x8", and 5"x7".
Stuffies - learn basic sewing skills while making a new best friend
Arduino - Learn some basics of electrical engineering and programming through an Arduino project creating a motion-sensor light!
