About the event
Learn how to make cards for any occasion using the Silhouette Craft Cutter! This class will show you how to use multiple features of the Silhouette Design Studio and some simple design techniques that can be applied to a variety of projects. By the end of this class you'll learn the basics of using Silhouette and with your own customized card!
We'll provide all the materials and computers you bring the creativity to make your own designs for any occasion!
Lead by: Lyssa Troemel (she/her)
Lyssa Troemel is in her third year of studies in Animatronics at UNCSA. Prior to enrolling at UNCSA, she was a props master and puppet builder in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Her work gained the attention of the local band Silbo Gomero and she collaborated with them to produce the award-winning shadow puppet music video “Whale Fall”. She also served on the Board of Directors of Puppeteers of America for two years. She loves to find ways to fuse the arts with technology and continues to do so in her studies.
