Form your team, build your bot, battle to the top!

Session 8

Take a break from bot building and start thinking about your team & robot name. During this session, you’ll have the chance to brainstorm with your team to think of a creative team name and robot name to enter into the competition with. Once you’ve decided on a team name, you’ll be taken through the process of creating a design for your team shirts to screen print and learn about the screen printing process.

By this session, your team will have to decide if they will be competing in the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown or will be dropping out of the program.

Bring your team together to learn the basics of combat robotics and build your very own robot! Learn, Build, Battle is part class, part meet-up, and all fun. Each week, you'll work with your team and a mentor to create your own combat robot, all culminating in your bot battling it out at the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown, the largest combat robotics event in North Carolina, on October 10th, 2026. Participating in this program includes supplies, weekly mentorship, team shirts, Mixxer Membership for the duration of the program, and entry into the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown.
