Session 7

With adjustments made and driving down, your bot is ready for it’s first fight! During this session, you’ll get to fight with other teams in the program and discover the skills it takes to properly compete. You’ll also learn how to get ready in between fights, what you’ll need to prepare for repairs, and various troubleshooting skills. This session will give you a true idea of how battle-ready your bot is and what you’ll need to do to make it even better! 

Bring your team together to learn the basics of combat robotics and build your very own robot! Learn, Build, Battle is part class, part meet-up, and all fun. Each week, you'll work with your team and a mentor to create your own combat robot, all culminating in your bot battling it out at the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown, the largest combat robotics event in North Carolina, on October 10th, 2026. Participating in this program includes supplies, weekly mentorship, team shirts, Mixxer Membership for the duration of the program, and entry into the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown.
