Session 2

Come by Mixxer to see a real competition in progress! Get a little taste of what Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown will be like during Mixxer’s Summer Meltdown Plastic Ant Competition. Stop by with your team to meet established teams, understand the process of a competition, and see real battles right in front of you. This will be your chance to get a taste of what is in store for you in October. 

You may show up any time between 8 AM and 3 PM for different parts of the competition.

Bring your team together to learn the basics of combat robotics and build your very own robot! Learn, Build, Battle is part class, part meet-up, and all fun. Each week, you'll work with your team and a mentor to create your own combat robot, all culminating in your bot battling it out at the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown, the largest combat robotics event in North Carolina, on October 10th, 2026. Participating in this program includes supplies, weekly mentorship, team shirts, Mixxer Membership for the duration of the program, and entry into the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown.
