Come learn the basics of how to use the Silhouette Craft Cutter for all different types of projects! This class will show you how to use multiple features of the Silhouette Design Studio and some simple design techniques that can be applied to a variety of projects. Bring any questions or design ideas that you'd like to work through with our instructor!

Lead by: Lyssa Troemel (she/her)

Lyssa Troemel is in her third year of studies in Animatronics at UNCSA. Prior to enrolling at UNCSA, she was a props master and puppet builder in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Her work gained the attention of the local band Silbo Gomero and she collaborated with them to produce the award-winning shadow puppet music video “Whale Fall”. She also served on the Board of Directors of Puppeteers of America for two years. She loves to find ways to fuse the arts with technology and continues to do so in her studies. This class is for makers 9 years old and older. All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
