About the event
Come learn how to sew and create your own adorable and sustainable gift bags! Bring the fabric of your choice and learn to sew a sustainable gift bag. You will take home a custom sized drawstring bag. Keep your gift size in mind when purchasing fabric. Great for awkward shaped gifts! A Â sustainable option for gift wrap!
You may use one of Mixxer's sewing machines or bring your own machine if you have one!

MIXXER's own June Jones has been sharing her expertise and knowledge to members and offering a friendly hand in all their sewing projects. June has been sewing for as long as she can remember. Having had an established career as an electronics technician and running a business focused on sewing machine repairs, June can skillfully assess your machine and give you guidance in all its stitches and settings. Come by and learn stuff about your sewing machine!
This class is for makers age 12 years old and older. All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. Â Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
