Intro to Mosaics: Mosaic Coasters

Minimum Age: 16 years old

Explore color and texture of beautiful glass tiles while creating two mosaic coasters! This class provides an easy entry to mosaics with no cutting or gluing. During this class, you'll create a beautiful mosaic design with square tiles, use a heat activated aheasive to secure the tiles, then grout your coasters. By the end of this session, you'll leave with your completed pair of coasters that are great for gift giving or keep them for yourself!

Lead by: Sue Estelle-Freeman (she/her)

Sue Estelle-Freeman is a mosaic artist based in Winston-Salem. She enjoys making both garden and wall art, using contrasts of line, texture and color. Inspired by nature and the human condition, she hopes to inspire others with the language of andamento and the beauty to be found in the assemblage of glass, stone and ceramic.
