About the event
Ever wanted to learn how to use a 3D printer? Curious about how to load filament? Wonder how to use the splicing software to get your file printer ready?
Great for those curious to try 3D printing, this class will show you how to take a 3D model and import it into slicing software, and export to print. You'll learn using Mixxer's Bambu Lab printers stl (file)-to-object workflow and walk away with your very first print!
Lead by: Neil Underwood (he/him)
Neil Underwood is a long time member of the local maker community having started the first Hackerspace in Winston Salem back in 2011. He is also one of the North American administrators for the RepRap 3d printing research organization, and has a certificate in electrical engineering. These days Neil is a Graduate of Northern Lights Santa Academy and member of the Fraternal order of Real Beard Santas.
