About the event
Come learn the basics of how to use Autodesk Fusion for 3D modeling! We'll go through some basic modeling techniques and features that will give you a great starting point to model projects in this software. This class is perfect it you're looking to get started modeling and preparing your model for 3D printing or even for planning woodworking projects. Autodesk Fusion is perfect for those looking for a step up from TinkerCAD to more advanced projects.
Note: This class will require a free Autodesk login. If you have a TinkerCAD account, you should be able to use that. Please also bring a flash drive to save any files you create in class.

Lyssa Troemel is in her third year of studies in Animatronics at UNCSA. Prior to enrolling at UNCSA, she was a props master and puppet builder in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Her work gained the attention of the local band Silbo Gomero and she collaborated with them to produce the award-winning shadow puppet music video “Whale Fall”. She also served on the Board of Directors of Puppeteers of America for two years. She loves to find ways to fuse the arts with technology and continues to do so in her studies.
