Dive into the world of 3D design with our beginner-friendly TinkerCAD 3D Modeling Class! This class is perfect for youth with little or no experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and will teach you the foundational skills you need to bring your creative ideas to life. You’ll learn how to navigate TinkerCAD, a free and intuitive design platform, to create custom 3D models step by step. From simple shapes to functional designs, this class will spark your creativity and introduce you to the exciting possibilities of 3D modeling and printing.
Instructor Carrie Beach, a skilled Career and Technical Education teacher and dedicated Mixxer volunteer, brings years of teaching experience and a passion for hands-on learning to guide you through the process. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with new skills, a completed 3D design project, and the confidence to explore more advanced CAD tools.
