Minimum Age: 12 years old
Got a new sewing machine? Found an old sewing machine? Not sure how to make it work for you? This class will help! During this class, you will get basic instruction on using your machine. You will learn machine safety, threading top and bobbin, using settings. You will practice sewing and changing stitches.
If you don't have a machine and would like to learn more about the machines MIxxer has on hand, please join us!
Important Note: Don't forget to bring your machine and any attachments and documentation you have and sewing projects!

Lead by: June Jones
MIXXER's own June Jones has been sharing her expertise and knowledge to members and offering a friendly hand in all their sewing projects. June has been sewing for as long as she can remember. Having had an established career as an electronics technician and running a business focused on sewing machine repairs, June can skillfully assess your machine and give you guidance in all its stitches and settings. Come by and learn stuff about your sewing machine!
All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.
Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
