Felting Basics: Make Poinsettias!

This class will take you through how to get started with wet and needle felting all in one fun seasonal project! This 2 session class will help you master the basics that you can apply to any felting project! Session one will focus on wet felting where you'll create your base felt for the rest of your poinsettias. Session two you will cut and form your flowers and create your details using both wet and needle felting techniques. Once you're done you'll be able to turn your new felted poinsettias into a scarf, a wreath, garland and more! Felting is a combination of skills and magic so come gain a little bit of both this holiday season!

Important Note: You will need to bring a spray bottle, an old towel and most importantly your imagination!

I have been Felting many years and teaching classes in all forms of this old art of working with fibers As a hat maker I learned it to be able to create hats in a wide range of colors not available in commercial felted bodies
