Create Your Own Custom Rug

Learn the art of rug tufting and create your very own customized rug! You'll take ANY preapproved image and craft it a unique 3 x 3 ft rug all on your own. This class will guide you through the process of tufting with a tufting gun, creating an even texture, and gluing on your backing fabric. Please be ready to come back the next day to pick up your rug after the glue has dried.

Please send an image to workshops@wsmixxer.org you wish to use for your rug 3-7 days before the workshop to ensure your chosen image will work for rug tufting.

This workshop is for makers 16 years and older.  Email: workshops@wsmixxer.org with any questions.  Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
