Beginner Resin Casting

Learn the basics of 1:1 resin casting! We'll go through the process of how to properly mix resin and use some basic additives. We'll have an assortment of molds with everything from containers to dice, to decorative elements and more! Extra resin is available for an additional cost.

Please plan to pick up your projects the next day Mixxer is open to the public.

Murphy (Sharon Murphy Boski) came to the area to study electronic puppetry and has stayed around to explore her art form of Puppetry here at Mixxer. A professional puppeteer with a 30+ year career in Puppetry Arts, Murphy has found puppetry to be the reason to learn all sorts of (normally) unrelated things. She loves exploring new ways to use old materials and techniques as well as trying new techniques and materials with old ways of working. Her specialty is using 2-D and 3-D art in 4-D art forms.

This class is for makers 9 years old and older. All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.
