Acrylic Pour Ornaments

Learn about fluid art and acrylic pouring by making a set of ornaments.  In this class, we will create a set of 12 acrylic pour ornaments.  You will learn how to mix paint and pouring medium to create liquid effects, and experiment with different pouring patterns.  

The ornaments will need to dry, and will be able to be picked up at Mixxer the week following the class.

Important Note: When using paint, there's always the risk of accidentally getting some on your clothes. Please wear something that you don't mind getting paint on. Refrain from wearing loose clothes, and keep long hair tied back.

With a background in mathematics, studio art, and architecture, Justyna uses her training to explore a variety of creative mediums. Justyna and her wife Dakota have been members at Mixxer since shortly after it was founded. See some of her work at www.bernackidesign.com

This meet up is for makers 12 years old and older. All makers ages 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Please email workshops@wsmixxer.org for any questions.

Workshops must meet a minimum number of registrations. Mixxer may cancel workshop 48 hours prior to start time, if minimum is not met. Should you need to cancel your registration, 48 hours notice is required to request a cancellation, refund or credit to future workshop date.
