Form your team, build your bot, battle to the top!

Session 1

Get introduced to the world of combat robotics and choose the design that will become your bot! During this session, you’ll learn the basics of building and competing in the world of combat robotics. You’ll have the chance to see footage of real battles, understand the rules of competition, and learn the pros and cons of different designs. By the end of this session, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to pick the design you want to build in order to start creating the parts of your robot. Over the next 2 weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to work with your mentor to start creating your parts to assemble.

Bring your team together to learn the basics of combat robotics and build your very own robot! Learn, Build, Battle is part class, part meet-up, and all fun. Each week, you'll work with your team and a mentor to create your own combat robot, all culminating in your bot battling it out at the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown, the largest combat robotics event in North Carolina, on October 10th, 2026. Participating in this program includes supplies, weekly mentorship, team shirts, Mixxer Membership for the duration of the program, and entry into the Dash Bash: Stadium Showdown.
